Visitors receive no cookies: only technical preferences, measured on the live site.
This page explains which cookies and other data the goglab.it website stores on your device. In short: visitors receive no cookies at all, either before or after answering the consent box. We only keep a few technical preferences in your browser’s storage, and we use no analytics or advertising tools.
The list below is not copied from a template: we built it by measuring the site on 28 September 2026, with a clean browser, on all the main pages in Italian and English, before and after pressing “Accept all”.
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device to remember something from one page to the next. A website can also use the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage): it works in a similar way and follows the same rules. Technical tools, which make the site work or remember a choice you made, do not need consent. Tools that measure visits or serve advertising always need it before they are switched on.

g_state |

This data stays on your device: it is sent neither to us nor to anyone else.
On your first visit a box appears with three buttons of the same shape: Accept all, Refuse all and Choose. There are three categories:
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page.
The Services page contains a video hosted on YouTube. Until you start it you only see a preview image served from our own server: no data goes to Google.
If you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced version. From that moment Google receives your IP address and technical playback data and may store data on your device, under its own notice (policies.google.com/privacy). If you do not press play, nothing happens.
On the Account page you can sign in with Google. Google’s sign-in service (accounts.google.com) loads only after you press the button: until then no external server is contacted. From that point Google’s own notice also applies.
The website uses no Google Analytics or other analytics tools, contains no advertising pixels and loads no fonts or scripts from external servers: our typefaces are self-hosted. The site is served through Cloudflare’s network, which protects it from attacks: in our measurement it set no cookies.
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block them, the site can still be browsed; however, you will not stay signed in to your account and your preferences (theme, accessibility, consent) will not be remembered.
GOG Lab apps do not use cookies. Some show ads and use the device advertising identifier only under the rules explained in the privacy policy, in each app’s section.
If we add or remove tools that store data on your device, we update this page and the date at the bottom. Everything else is covered by the privacy policy.
